2. What personal data we collect and why
a) Enquiries through our contact form
When you submit our website contact form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and anything you include in your message.
Purpose: To respond to your enquiry, provide a quote, and communicate about a possible or ongoing renovation project.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and/or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services and communicating with prospective clients.
b) WhatsApp messages
If you contact us via the WhatsApp button on our website or by calling or messaging +34 614 01 72 40, we receive your phone number, the profile information you choose to make visible, and the content of your messages.
Purpose: To communicate with you about your enquiry or project.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR and/or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in communicating with prospective and existing clients.
WhatsApp is provided by WhatsApp Ireland Limited / Meta Platforms, Inc. Messages sent through WhatsApp are also subject to WhatsApp’s own privacy policy. See Section 4 for information about international data transfers.
c) Clients and completed projects
If you become a client, we also process your property or project address, project details, invoicing and payment information, and photographs of the work carried out (before and after).
Purpose: Performing the renovation contract, invoicing, and warranty administration.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, performance of a contract, and Article 6(1)(c) GDPR, compliance with our legal obligations under Spanish tax and commercial accounting law.
d) Testimonials and project photos
With your permission, we may publish your name, a testimonial or review, and/or before and after photographs of your property on our website or our Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok pages.
Purpose: Marketing and showcasing our work.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, your consent.
You may withdraw your consent at any time by emailing info@resenor.es. We will remove the content from the channels we control within a reasonable period.
e) Cookies and website data
Our website uses strictly necessary cookies required for the website and our cookie consent tool to function.
With your consent, we also use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website and to improve our services. Google Analytics places analytics cookies and collects information such as pages visited, device information, and technical information relating to your visit.
Some pages of our website contain embedded content from third parties, including YouTube videos and an Instagram feed. When this content is loaded, YouTube (Google) or Instagram/Meta may collect technical information, including your IP address, and may set their own cookies. This processing is carried out by those providers under their own privacy policies and may involve international data transfers.

3. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data.
We may share your data with:
- Service providers who process data on our behalf, such as our website hosting provider, email provider, and the provider of our WordPress cookie consent tool. Where required, these providers act under a data processing agreement in accordance with Article 28 GDPR.
- Google Ireland Limited and its affiliated companies, where you consent to our use of Google Analytics or interact with embedded YouTube content.
- WhatsApp / Meta Platforms, Inc., when you contact us via WhatsApp, Instagram, or Facebook.
- Public authorities where required by law, for example tax authorities.
- Our accountant or gestoría where necessary to comply with our legal and tax obligations.
We do not use advertising networks or advertising cookies.
4. International data transfers
Some of the providers mentioned above, including Google, Meta Platforms, Inc. (which operates WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook), and, where applicable, our email or hosting providers, may process personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA), including in the United States.
Where this occurs, we rely on the safeguards required by Chapter V of the GDPR, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an applicable adequacy decision, to ensure your personal data continues to receive an equivalent level of protection.

5. How long we keep your data
Enquiries that do not become projects: Up to one year from your last contact with us, after which we delete or anonymise the data unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
Client and project records (contracts, invoices, project files): For the duration of our relationship and afterwards for as long as required by Spanish law, generally six years under the Commercial Code (Código de Comercio) for commercial and accounting documentation, and at least four years for tax purposes under the General Tax Law (Ley General Tributaria).
Testimonials and photographs published with your consent: Until you withdraw your consent or ask us to remove them.
WhatsApp conversations: Retained for as long as necessary to deal with your enquiry or project and periodically deleted when no longer required, subject to our WhatsApp Business account settings.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR and the LOPDGDD, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erase your personal data, where applicable.
- Restrict or object to certain processing.
- Receive your personal data in a portable format where applicable.
- Withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before consent was withdrawn.

If you believe we have not handled your personal data correctly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, AEPD) at www.aepd.es or with the supervisory authority in your EU country of residence.

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures, including access controls, password protection, and secure hosting where appropriate, to protect personal data against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, loss, or misuse.
However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
Our website and services are intended for adults, primarily property owners, and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16 years of age.
